It is your responsibility to obtain information and to have in your possession all the required documentation and identification required for entry, departure and travel to each country or region. This includes a valid passport and all travel documents required by the relevant governmental authorities including all visas, permits and certificates (including but not limited to vaccination or medical certificates) and insurance policies. You must have a passport that is valid 6 months after the last date of travel with the Tour Operator as set out on your itinerary. You accept full responsibility for obtaining all such documents, visas and permits prior to the start of the Tour, and you are solely responsible for the full amount of costs incurred because of missing or defective documentation. You agree that you are responsible for the full amount of any loss or expense incurred by the Tour Operator that is a direct result of your failure to secure or be in possession of proper travel documentation. The Tour Operator does not provide advice on travel documents and makes no representations or warranties as to the accuracy or completeness of any information provided on visas, vaccinations, climate, clothing, baggage, or special equipment and you agree that the Tour Operator is not responsible for any errors or omissions in this information.
SOUTH AFRICA
Visa: U.S. citizens (U.S. passport holders) visiting the Republic of South Africa for ninety (90) days or less for tourism / business purposes do not need visas.
Passport: You must have a valid passport for this trip that will not expire 30 days beyond your intended date of exit from South Africa; however, some immigration officials still request that a passport should have at least 6 months validity on the date of entry to South Africa.
Use this time to ensure that your passport is valid and meet the requirements for this country. If you have not done so already, please forward a copy of your passport to your Listed Travel Agent within 10 days from registration submission.
If you are in the process of obtaining a new or are renewing an expiring passport, it is very important that you understand that a valid passport is required and if for any reason that you are unable to obtain a valid passport for entry, all cancellations rules will be applied. If you cannot provide passport information at this time, you MUST read and sign the Passport/Visa Acknowledgement of Risk Form within 10 days from the date of this document.
